As recognition for their efforts last season, Bayern trio Mats Hummels, Joshua Kimmich and Robert Lewandowski have been included among the 55 nominees for the 2018 FIFPro World XI. Arturo Vidal, who left Bayern for Barcelona in the summer, is also on the shortlist. The vote is organised by football's world governing body, FIFA, and the players' union, FIFPro, with the winners revealed on 21 September as part of 'The Best FIFA Football Awards' show in London. The shortlist is based on the votes of nearly 25,000 players from 65 different countries. Each player nominates one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards.
