Nico Kovac now has almost his full squad at his disposal. The FC Bayern boss welcomed the FCB Germany players back from international duty on Thursday morning two days ahead of the tough away game at VFL Wolfsburg. With the exception of James Rodriguez, who was in action with Colombia against Costa Rica in the USA late on Wednesday night, the 47-year-old was able to get a look at his players again before the match against the Wolves starts an intensive run of fixtures with seven games in 22 days.
In addition to the Germany returnees, David Alaba returned to full training two weeks after slight muscle injury picked up in the Bundesliga clash with Gladbach. "We’re really looking forward to every training session," declared the Austrian after completing the session and he also found words of praise for the commitment shown by his team-mates in the drills. "You can see how everybody's pulling in the same direction and how focused and hungry we are," said the 26-year-old left back.
