The FC Bayern online advent calendar is back

Opening the door of an advent calendar every morning is one of the best things about the Christmas period. The traditional countdown to 24 December delights young and old alike and December just wouldn't be the same without it.

This year, there will once again be a different surprise every day for FC Bayern fans with our online advent calendar. Whether it's a devilish riddle with the first-team players, seasonal greetings from the basketball or women's team, or a competition from one of FCB's many partners - we've prepared something special for every day.

This year's advent calendar isn't just taking place on the website and the app, but also on the FC Bayern Instagram Story Account.

Plus, for the first time, we've made the innovative AR feature available to all those who have the traditional chocolate advent calendar from the Fan Shop at home. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to bring the physical chocolate advent calendar to life:

• Download or update the FC Bayern app (available from 30 November)
• Go to the bottom-right of the menu
• Select "scan advent calendar"
• Scan the door of the advent calendar
