Kingsley Coman’s time training alone is finally over as the Frenchman once again took part in team training on Tuesday after overcoming the ankle injury that’s kept him out since the end of August. The 22-year-old participated in an intensive warm-up and passing drills before returning to his individual recovery programme on a neighbouring pitch.
Arjen Robben, who has been plagued by knee problems, was also able to re-join the team for the first time in a number of weeks, but again returned to his personal session after the warm-up. Robert Lewandowski has come back from international duty with a slight knee complaint so worked alone in the performance centre.
The remaining international players will return to Munich in the coming days. Then the squad will begin their preparations for Saturday’s Bundesliga match at home to Fortuna Düsseldorf.
