Allianz Arena introduces innovations

In time for the last home match of the year the Allianz Arena has introduced innovations that make visits to the stadium easier and more convenient. The modern, innovative systems will be used for the first time on Wednesday, when FC Bayern take on RB Leipzig (kick-off at 20.30 CET). The solutions will guarantee convenient payment and faster, easier and more secure entry to the Allianz Arena.

Apple Pay and cards

FC Bayern are the first Bundesliga club to offer Apple Pay. iPhone (version 6 or higher, iOS 11 or higher) and Apple Watch users can use their devices at all kiosks and in the Allianz Arena fan shops. Users need only hold the top edge of their device to the payment terminal to be verified via Face ID or Touch ID, or by double-clicking on the Apple Watch.

Visitors can also use credit and debit cards, either with a PIN or contactless payment via NFC. The German record champions have reacted to the fans' requests to introduce innovative forms of payment besides the Arena Card.

Easy and secure access with the Mobile Ticket

FC Bayern are also pioneers when it comes to entry to the stadium. iPhone users can now use their device to enter the Allianz Arena. The ticket needs to be added to Apple Wallet to communicate with the ticket scanner. There is no need to unlock the device.
