On the first Sunday in Advent the FC Bayern players, coaching staff and officials took their traditional annual tour to visit a number of fan clubs, greeted by smiling faces.

Serge Gnabry had already made his visit after Saturday's victory away to Bremen, stopping by fan club Bakumer Germanen some 70 kilometres south-west of the Hanseatic city. The rest followed suit on Sunday. Jérôme Boateng visited fan club Bavaria Bestia in Potsdam, near his home city of Berlin. Leon Goretzka too visited home, entertained by RheinRuhr Buam in Velbert.

Coach Niko Kovac, who knows the annual fan club visits from his time as an FCB pro, visited fan club Da rode Stean Inzell. "It was turbulent enough in the last few weeks, so it's good we can celebrate the first Sunday in Advent calmly," Kovac had said after Saturday's victory, looking forward to the visit.

Among other things, Kovac was tested in finger-wrestling, whereas captain Manuel Neuer deputised as conductor at fan club Bayernfreunde '95 Unterallgäu e.V. Fan club OAL-Power-Beichelstein welcomed goal-getter Robert Lewandowski with a dance performance. Thomas Müller (Red Bulls Taubenbach e.V.), Mats Hummels (Nassenfels), David Alaba (Red Eagles Austria) and others were in action too.

Be it in Konstanz (Corentin Tolisso), Höslwang (Franck Ribéry), Leipzig (Joshua Kimmich) or Feldthurns in South Tyrol (Karl-Heinz Rummenigge), the Bavarians handed out countless autographs, were available for questions from fans large and small and gave and received presents. The FC Bayern fan club visits were once again a memorable event for all fans of the German record champions.
