Bayern players at Audi e-tron presentation

The FC Bayern pros kept a very special appointment after Thursday morning's training session. The German record champions took part in the unveiling of the first all-electric car by FCB shareholders Audi at the outdoor area between Terminals 1 and 2 of Munich Airport. Manuel Neuer & Co completed tasks at several stations to get to know the electric SUV along with its innovative technology.

They players solved puzzles to get out of an escape room and proved their skills on e-scooters, or crossed swords in car races with remote-controlled mini e-trons (1:23) before testing their driving skills at the Audi Training Center, comparing an electric car and a car with a combustion engine.

Captain Neuer called the Audi e-tron and the technology of the future "very interesting." "It's ideal for the city," said defensive all-rounder Joshua Kimmich, enjoying the exceptional event: "It's definitely something new for a change." A group picture with Audi AG chairman Bram Schot, Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the squad and coach Niko Kovac rounded off the appointment on Thursday afternoon.
