FC Bayern started their week's training with an open session on Tuesday morning ahead of their first home match of 2019 against VfB Stuttgart this Sunday (kick-off 15:30 CET). Around 300 spectators came to the Säbener Straße ground to watch Thomas Müller and Co work up a sweat.

Niko Kovac had a total of 21 players at his disposal. Serge Gnabry worked individually in the performance centre, as did recovering trio Arjen Robben, Franck Ribéry and Corentin Tolisso, while James Rodriguez was also absent as he has been given an extra day off by Kovac.

The first session of the week consisted mostly of passing drills in various forms as well match situation drills on a smaller pitch. After their work was done, the Bayern players spent time signing autographs for the watching fans.
