The 74-year-old, who has coached five different teams at the World Cup, took the opportunity to have a relaxed conversation with sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic.

International friendly between fan clubs

The FC Bayern players were not the only ones to work up a sweat in Doha – they were joined by their fans. On Tuesday afternoon there was a friendly between the local FC Bayern fan club, the Red Falcons, and the travelling supporters of Germany's record champions. The game was played on half a pitch with 20 minutes each way.The home team from Doha ran out 7-3 winners in the end.
