Franck Ribery was able to complete large parts of the team training session for the first time today. The Frenchman suffered a torn muscle fibre in his thigh at the end of the training camp in Doha and has been working individually ever since. His return meant head coach Niko Kovac was only missing Corentin Tolisso in the morning session, after Arjen Robben had re-joined team training on Monday.
Kovac had already speculated before the home game against Stuttgart that they would be able to use both Robben & Ribery this weekend. "I hope to have at least one, if not both, in the squad against Leverkusen," the coach remarked. The odds of that happening do not seem bad.
