50 million likes: FCB in European top four
FC Bayern like it! James Rodriguez would simply say ‘Muchas gracias’, Franck Ribéry a euphoric ‘Merci beaucoup’ and Thomas Müller a big ‘Danke!’ The players give their all week after week on the pitch with millions of fans worldwide cheering them on from their devices. Different age groups follow contributions that inform, entertain or provide exclusive behind-the-scenes insights. Galleries, line-ups, interviews, scores or a wide range of videos – the content is adapted to the needs of the user.

Similar to the sporting efforts on the turf, the developments in social media have also produced tangible results. FC Bayern are now in the top four on Facebook. In the last few years, in addition to Champions League opponents Liverpool, FC Bayern have surpassed a lot of big clubs. Only Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United are ahead of the Star of the South. In future, the same leitmotif will apply to social media as on the pitch – #packmas!
