The Germany U19 team, including FCB players Christian Früchtl, Lukas Mai and Alexander Lungwitz (up to 71 minutes) in the starting eleven, suffered a 1-0 defeat against Norway. The only goal of the game was scored by Tobias Christensen on 48 minutes. Germany were the livelier of the two teams but were not ambitious enough. After the opening victory against Croatia (2-1), Früchtl & Co. are second in the table three points behind Norway (on four). They will definitely need a victory against Hungary in the final game on Tuesday 26 March (14.00 CET) to keep their hopes alive. Only the group winners qualify for the European championship finals in Armenia.
