A trip down to Säbener Straße for Bayern’s open training session on Wednesday was well worth it for fans with plenty to enjoy. With 11 players away on international duty, coach Niko Kovac had to get involved himself. During a shooting drill, it was the boss putting in the crosses, demonstrating he’s not lost his touch on the ball. It was all to the excitement of the attending fans taking advantage of the chance to watch Bayern at work.

And that wasn’t all. As he had the previous day, Corentin Tolisso was again part of training before continuing his own rehabilitation plan on a neighbouring pitch. Back on centre stage, the Bundesliga leaders showed off their stills in various small matches. Jerome Boateng demonstrated a trademark lofted ball, there was a remarkable solo goal from goalkeeper Sven Ulreich, Renato Sanches showed off his dribbling skills and much more. At the end of the session, the FCB players then fulfilled the numerous wishes of fans for photos and autographs. All in all, an excellent training for the coach, players and fans.
