FC Bayern reached a milestone in Saturday evening's 5-1 victory away to Borussia Mönchengladbach. The German record champions are the first side to boast 4,000 goals in the Bundesliga. Serge Gnabry scored the landmark goal when he netted Bayern's fourth with a quarter-hour to go. Bayern enjoy a huge cushion at the top, ahead of Werder Bremen on 3,112 goals.
Lewandowski overtakes Wohlfahrt
Robert Lewandowski scored his Bundesliga goals 120 and 121 for Bayern in the victory away to Gladbach, surpassing Roland Wohlfarth (119) in the club's all-time scorer rankings. Only Gerd Müller on 365 and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge on 162 have more Bundesliga goals for Bayern to their names.
