Serge Gnabry not only rescued a point in the race for the championship title when he scored in the 75th minute, he also tied a record. His tenth goal this campaign meant the 23-year-old is the third player in Bundesliga history to score double figures for three different clubs in three consecutive years. Only Erwin Kostedde (1974-77) and Jürgen Wegmann (1985-88) have achieved this feat before.
Gnabry scored 11 goals for Werder Bremen two years ago and ten for TSG Hoffenheim last season. He was involved in 15 of Hoffenheim's goals in 2017/18, a personal best mark he equalised with his goal in the derby on Sunday. The Germany international has been involved in eight goals in his last seven Bundesliga appearances, scoring five and setting up three.
