James Rodriguez, 27, will not train for the next few days due to a muscle injury but he should be available for FC Bayern again soon. That was the outcome of a medical examination by the club doctor Dr Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt on Monday after James had to be substituted in Sunday’s 1-1 draw at FC Nürnberg.
By contrast, Jérôme Boateng completed an individual session on the training ground on Monday morning after the 30-year-old defender suffered a bruised knee in the final pre-match training session two days ago ahead of the Nürnberg game.
