Besides Arjen Robben, Franck Ribéry and Rafinha, assistant coach Peter Hermann will leave FC Bayern at the end of the season. "Peter Hermann also contested his last match today," said chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge at the freshly-crowned double winners' cup party in Berlin.
Hermann returned to FC Bayern from Fortuna Düsseldorf at Jupp Heynckes' request in October 2017. The two had been in charge of the German record champions from 2011 to 2013. "Let's not forget to celebrate him tonight," Rummenigge said in paying tribute to Hermann.
At FC Bayern, Hermann has won the championship and the DFB Cup three times each, the DFL Supercup once and of course the Champions League at Wembley in 2013. The assistant coach's expertise and experience played a crucial role in these titles. FC Bayern thanks Hermann for his excellent work and wishes him all the best for the future.
