Since Sunday the FC Bayern reserves have been preparing for the new season in Stubaital, Austria. They were joined by a new face on Thursday in Jann-Fiete Arp, who has travelled to the training camp for extra sessions before the first team begin their pre-season on 8 July. “I want to prepare myself as best as possible for when I start with the FC Bayern first team and I’m glad I’ve been given this chance with the reserves,” the 19-year-old summer signing said of his decision to work with the newly promoted third-division side.

The Germany youth international arrives in Munich from Hamburger SV and has met some familiar faces in the FCB reserves having played alongside Christian Früchtl and Lukas Mai for Germany’s U19s.
