This award is something very special. Corentin Tolisso was presented with the Legion d'Honneur on Tuesdsay by the French president Emmanuel Macron for winning the World Cup. The FC Bayern midfielder received the award at the Élysée Palace in Paris together with the France team for winning the World Cup last year. Tolisso received the award alongside future FCB players Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez.
The Legion d'Honneur was established by Napoleon in 1802 and is the highest decoration in France. Tolisso and Co. earned the award with the 4-2 win in the final against Croatia to gain a second star for the Équipe Tricolore.
