What do winning the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1967, the European Cup in 1976, the UEFA Cup in 1996 and the Bundesliga title in 2013 in Frankfurt have in common? Both Franz 'Bulle' Roth (1967, 1976) as well as Thomas Helmer, Mehmet Scholl (1996) and Bastian Schweinsteiger (2013) with his famous back-heel scored the winning goals in white shirts. Thomas Müller & Co. could continue that tradition in the coming campaign as FC Bayern will play in a new, overwhelmingly white away shirt in 2019/20.

The new kit for the record champions for the coming season was presented on Sunday morning together with long-term partners adidas. David Alaba, Kingsley Coman and Robert Lewandowski were able to try out the new kit: They wore their new shirts, shorts and socks in the final training session before flying out for the Audi Summer Tour on Monday morning.

Coach Niko Kovac was able to welcome 18 players to the training ground. The 17 outfield players included the seven internationals Alaba, Coman, Lewandowski, Niklas Süle, Leon Goretzka and new signing Benjamin Pavard who only joined the pre-season preparations on Friday. Birthday boy Serge Gnabry, who celebrated his 24th birthday on Sunday, trained on his own in the performance centre. The squad also included eight youth players plus the three goalkeepers Manuel Neuer, Sven Ulreich and Christian Früchtl.

A warm-up routine was followed by passing drills and positional play and finally the goalkeepers, who had been working with Toni Tapalovic, joined in with shooting practice. Practice match with a range of tactical tasks ended the session on the pitch before the FCB players carried on their work in the performance centre.
