Training plus partying at the Audi Player Night

Niko Kovac organised another training session on Thursday morning. After the first friendly of the pre-season against Arsenal, the Bayern pros had little time to take a breather as they had another two-hour, intensive session on Thursday, day four of the Audi Summer Tour. "We can be very happy with the pre-season so far given what the two teams have shown," said the Bayern coach after the narrow 2-1 defeat night before. But that means that FCB will have to continue working hard on fine-tuning ahead of the coming campaign regardless of the outcome of the game and the good performance against the Gunners the day before. "The result is definitely of secondary importance. It won't have any effect on our pre-season preparations," revealed Kovac. "We'll continue exactly as we planned."

Audi Player Night over the roofs of Hollywood

The plan brought a bit of variety for the pros the night before. After the 47-year-old coach gave his team the afternoon off, Manuel Neuer and Co. headed to the Audi Player Night where the players enjoyed dinner together in a venue with a roof terrace in the Hollywood Hills providing a fantastic view over Los Angeles.

"It's one of the most fascinating cities in the world. Today's location is fantastic," said Karl-Heinz Rummenigge as he welcomed the guests and opened the party under the night sky of Los Angeles. But the pros did not have too much time to switch off as another training session awaits in the morning before heading off to the next stop of the tour in Houston.
