FC Bayern officially begin their pre-season training for 2019/20 on Monday, 8 July. First up for the players in the morning are the performances tests, although this will be without players who had been away on international duty at the end of last season. They will re-join the squad on Friday.
As well as numerous training sessions, including a public one on Monday at 17.00, there are also media appointments scheduled. FCB new boy and World Cup winner Lucas Hernández will hold a press conference at the Allianz Arena on Monday at 14.00. The 23-year-old will be joined by CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. The day after, head coach Niko Kovac will face the media for the first time this season, taking questions at Säbener Straße from 14.00. That will be followed by the unveiling of Fiete Arp.
The record champions’ third summer signing, Benjamin Pavard, will hold a press conference with sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic on Friday. That will take place at the Allianz Arena at a time yet to be confirmed.
