FC Bayern will put the final touches to their pre-season preparations in their own backyard when they head to lake Tegernsee for a five-day training camp ahead of their DFB Cup first-round clash with Energie Cottbus on 12 August. From 6 to 10 August, head coach Niko Kovac aims to use the outstanding conditions to get his team into optimal shape for the cup tie and the start of the Bundesliga season the following week. For any fans in the area, there is great news as FCB will hold two public training sessions in Rottach-Egern (Birkenmoosstraße).
The public training sessions:
- Tuesday, 6 August (17:00 CEST)
- Saturday, 10 August (10:00 CEST)
Please note: Access to the public sessions cannot be guaranteed as the number of spectators will be limited for safety reasons.
FC Bayern will also contest one friendly match against local side FC Rottach-Egern on Thursday, 8 August (kick-off 18:30 CEST), and it is also open to fans!
Tickets for the match are available from Tuesday, 6 August from the Rottach-Egern tourist information office.
