#ServusCoutinho - Record numbers on digital media

#ServusCoutinho – was the motto used by FC Bayern to greet our new Brazilian world superstar. A video was published at the same time as the official press release on fcbayern.com, smartphone apps and social media platforms. The title: "Munich and FC Bayern say 'Servus', Coutinho." And that was just the start of special days for the German record champions..

Monday was the most successful day for FC Bayern on social media since the accounts were opened. Over 100 million fans were reached with around 300 items of content published on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. – that has never happened before. The Instagram post on Friday announcing the transfer agreement achieved 1.2 million likes, also a record.

There is a huge amount of interest in the new attacking maestro. That was also demonstrated at the first open training session at Säbener Straße with around 1,500 fans making the pilgrimage in pouring rain or the great rush at the fan shops for shirts with the new number 10 on.

The record champions club media channels will shortly publish a detailed and personal video portrait of the new signing. And the new edition of our members magazine '51' will, of course, look at Coutinho in detail. FC Bayern say: #ServusCoutinho.
