Following Cottbus, it's off to Bochum! In Sunday evening's draw for the second round of the DFB Cup at the German Football Museum in Dortmund, FC Bayern discovered they will travel to the Ruhr valley, where they'll meet VfL Bochum. Former Germany player Christoph Metzelder picked out the lottery balls, giving the record champions a clash with the Bundesliga 2 outfit.
In the first round a week ago, FCB enjoyed a comfortable 3-1 win against Energie Cottbus from the fourth tier. The match with VfL will take place on 29 or 30 October. You'll find out the exact date and timings in the coming weeks at fcbayern.com as soon as it has been announced by the DFB.
