There was positive news of Jérôme Boateng on Monday morning, as the 30-year-old centre-back resumed training following the short illness that prevented him appearing away to Schalke in Saturday's Bundesliga clash and in the annual Dream Game in Vilshofen on Sunday.
While the rest of the squad enjoyed a day off following the busy weekend, Boateng put in an extra shift at the Säbener Straße facility, completing a one-hour workout comprising various fitness and coordination exercises under the supervision of Hansi Flick and Prof. Dr. Holger Broich.
