FCB pros at Paulaner photo shoot

Three weeks ahead of the start of the 186th Oktoberfest, there was something of a festival atmosphere at FC Bayern on Sunday. The FCB partner Paulaner staged the annual photo shoot after the morning training session. The Niko Kovač team cut a fine figure dressed in lederhosen, traditional shoes and jackets. And new signings Philippe Coutinho, Ivan Perišić, Lucas Hernández, Benjamin Pavard, Michaël Cuisance and Fiete Arp looked impressive in the somewhat unusual outfits. "I've never worn anything like that before. It's the first time, it's great," reported Coutinho in his first appearance in Bavarian traditional costume. "I think I look good in it." The FC Bayern squad can put on their lederhosen again from 21 September when the beer festival starts at the Theresienwiese in Munich.

Arp back in training

Ahead of the photo shoot, FC Bayern fans had the opportunity to watch the German record champions. The open training session at Säbener Straße involved players who only had a brief role or did not play in yesterday's convincing 6-1 win against Mainz. Fiete Arp was also back on the pitch having recovered from illness. Ahead of the session, the whole squad took time out for autographs and selfies before the starting eleven completed a recovery session in the performance centre.
