Bayern pay annual visit to the Wiesn

Before a number of pros set off on international duty, the FC Bayern team, coaches and officials had a special date on Sunday. The Reds dropped by Käfer's Wiesnschänke for the annual visit to the Oktoberfest. Accompanied by their families (and of course in traditional costumes), the Bavarians visited the Theresienwiese.

"We'd rather have gone here after a victory, it's a bit annoying on such a nice day of course," Niklas Süle said one day after the defeat at home to Hoffenheim. But the men from Munich did not allow the defeat to dampen the mood too much. After all, the German record champions had done a "good job" before Saturday, having gone unbeaten until the match, as sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić stressed.

The German record champions enjoyed the day with Wiesn beer provided by Bayern partner Paulaner, non-alcoholic refreshments and Bavarian delicacies. The visit is a good opportunity for the new signings to "get to know the Wiesn" and to see "what it means to play in Munich," added Salihamidzic. Prost!
