Bayern's forthcoming Champions League opponents Olympiacos had to settle for a goalless draw at Xanthi FC in the Greek Super League on Saturday. The Piraeus club remain two points clear of reigning double winners PAOK at the top of the table.
With just one point from their first three games in the Champions League, Pedro Martins' side are under pressure ahead of their trip to the Allianz Arena. The port city club are also winless in 11 matches in the competition since a 2-1 win over Dinamo Zagreb in November 2015, losing nine of those – a club record.
