Lucas Hernández visits the FC Bayern Erlebniswelt

FC Bayern supporters are missing Lucas Hernández on the pitch at the moment. The 2018 World Cup winner is sidelined due to a torn ligament in his right ankle. So the France international took time out to meet the fans off the pitch. Hernandez paid a visit to the FC Bayern Erlebniswelt on Sunday where the 23 year-old defender was happy to sign autographs and pose for selfies to the delight of the fans.

'I really like it here'

It was his first time at the club museum of the record champions and Hernández said in an interview, "I really like it here." Asked about the injury, he added: "I will probably be at the training camp in January and I hope I'll be able to join in. First I'll be able to do parts of the training sessions as well as training on my own."

Hernández has been in rehab training since the operation on his injured ankle at the end of October.

On his visit to the FC Bayern club museum, he was particularly impressed by the Champions League trophies on display. He said he hoped to be able to "contribute to another trophy joining the collection," said the Frenchman.
