Tolisso and Boateng subbed off with knocks

Two players had to be subbed off with knocks in the bitter 2-1 Bundesliga defeat away to Borussia Mönchengladbach. Corentin Tolisso went down unchallenged and had to be replaced after 20 minutes, Ivan Perišić coming on for him.

Jérôme Boateng too sustained a knock, so Hansi Flick was forced to shuffle his defence in the second half. "Boateng had problems at half-time. He tried, but we had to replace him," said the Bayern coach. Javi Martínez took over from the 31-year-old after 68 minutes.
