There was lots of activity at the FC Bayern training ground on Wednesday. Over 30 international journalists came to Munich for the 'International Media Day' and met the FCB players. In total, 21 interviews took place on the day involving nearly all of the first team, including telephone interviews with journalists from the USA and India.
21 interviews and several photoshoots took place at Säbener Straße.
The International Media Day is held at regular intervals and is an important element of the German record champions' internationalisation strategy. With pivotal fixtures coming up in the Bundesliga, Champions League and DFB Cup, now was the ideal time for it.
