Giovane Elber visited the regional partner Häfele on 29 November to help celebrate their 25th anniversary in Thailand. A highlight of the trip was the ‘The Night of Wonders’ anniversary event organised by Häfele in the world-famous ICONSIAM, the latest landmark in Bangkok. In addition to Giovane Elber, over 2,000 visitors were there to celebrate the 25th anniversary.

The event was launched by Georg Schmidt, the German ambassador in Thailand, Ulrich Häfele, owner of the family company Häfele Deutschland, Stefan Huber, of the Häfele board worldwide, plus Volker and Marivic Hellstern, who acted as the hosts at the gala evening. FC Bayern ambassador Elber walked onto the stage with the actor Kimberley Anna Woltemas and he enjoyed the great programme of events. The after-show party was opened by the singer Wichayanee (Gam) Pearklin who certainly thrilled the visitors.

Elber congratulated Häfele in his speech on the evening of their 25th anniversary on behalf of FC Bayern where he emphasised the common values shared by FC Bayern and Häfele.

In the morning, Elber visited the German language school 'RIMS Swiss Section’ with around 300 school students from years 1 to 12 enjoying the opportunity for autographs and selfies plus the chance to shoot at a goal wall. Giovane also brought the Bundesliga Shield with him to the great excitement of the assembled students.

And in the subsequent visit to the Ari Football Concept Store with FCB partner Adidas, Elber was greeted by a large crowd of FC Bayern supporters. The Thai fans present also had the chance for selfies and autographs at a meet and greet.

After an intensive day in Thailand, that ended with the superb anniversary event for Häfele, Giovane and FC Bayern once again wished Häfele all the best and looked forward to future exciting events in Thailand.

Alva / Lux Asia Group visits Munich

A group from our regional partner Alva/Lux Asia travel to Munich for the Bundesliga home game against Bayer 04 Leverkusen. The participants included the winners of the Lucky Draw programme from Thailand and Indonesia. On the matchday there was an exclusive Allianz Arena tour and a visit to the FC Bayern Museum. Ahead of kick-off, the group were able to watch the FC Bayern stars close up from the edge of the pitch as they completed their warm-up routine. All the participants gained unforgettable memories and were clearly impressed by the range of experiences.

FC Bayern coaches in action in Japan

From 30 November to 8 December, our international coaches Thomas Döllner and Matthias Brosamer were in Japan to run an FC Bayern Football Camp in Yamanashi (approximately one hour away from Tokyo). Over the course of two days, 100 plus boys and girls were coached in line with the FC Bayern youth philosophy and approach to training. The children had lots of fun and were able to enjoy a great time. Our two coaches then moved on to Tsuneishi near Hiroshima. The little seaside town was the venue for the FC Bayern Football School Tsuneishi back in 2016. From Monday to Sunday, local coaches received lessons in theory and practice. Each day, the packed programme of our FC Bayern coaches included numerous training sessions with the different teams (boys and girls of different age groups).
