Arjen Robben scored 144 goals in 309 competitive matches for FC Bayern, lying seventh in the club's all-time scorer rankings. In March 2014 the eight-time German champion scored three goals in the 5-1 Bundesliga home victory over FC Schalke, Bayern's upcoming opponents.
Four Bundesliga hat-tricks
The Dutchman scored his first one when his sumptuous lob doubled Bayern's lead after 15 minutes. Robben soon made it four for FCB when his drive found the bottom left corner of the net. He crowned his gala display when he converted a penalty with a quarter-hour to go before leaving the pitch to a standing ovation with the final whistle imminent. It was the last of Robben's four Bundesliga hat-tricks.
