He scores and scores and scores, breaking record after record. Robert Lewandowski continued his fine form on Friday night, netting a brace in Bayern's 3-2 home win against Paderborn, the 24th and 25th goals of the season for the 31-year-old striker. In the history of German football, only Gerd Müller has managed to score as many goals in the top flight after 23 games. Der Bomber also notched the same impressive total in the 1969/70 and 1971/72 seasons.
Lewandowski has already scored braces or better in seven Bundesliga games for the German record champions this season. The Polish international now has nine goals against Paderborn, almost twice as many as the promoted club from Westphalia have achieved in matches against Bayern.
Serge Gnabry also played a big part in securing a 3-2 win against Paderborn 👇
