Kingsley Coman has returned to action with a bang. In Bayern's 4-1 win in Cologne, the 23-year-old returned to the starting line-up for the first time since injuring his left knee in mid-December. And the Frenchman needed a mere five minutes before settling back into the groove.
Hurricane Coman
After a Thomas Müller pass, Coman supplied an excellent finish under pressure to make the score 2-0. It was his second goal of the season, but apart from that, the winger was involved in many of the league leaders’ attacking moves and, together with his team-mates, repeatedly had the Köln defence at sixes and sevens.
Well-timed return
Coman was injured in the Bavarians' 3-1 win over Tottenham in December and only last weekend celebrated his return to the pitch as a sub in the goalless draw against Leipzig. Now he is fully back on form and an important weapon for the men from Munich in the fight for silverware.
