The FC Bayern wishes of luck have paid off! The Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl Champions 2020. Overnight the team under quarterback Patrick Mahomes won the final of the National Football League (NFL). In the biggest single sporting fixture in the world the Chiefs prevailed 31-20 against the San Francisco 49ers after a comeback in the fourth quarter.
During the Audi Summer Tour last summer the German record champions stopped in Kansas City. Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and a delegation from FC Bayern visited the Kansas City Chiefs and chairman Clark Hunt in the Arrowhead Stadium.
In July a delegation from FC Bayern presented a Bayern Munich shirt to Clark Hunt, chairman of the Kansas City Chiefs, during a visit to the Arrowhead stadium.
In addition to his role at the Kansas City Chiefs, Hunt is also co-chairman of FC Dallas with his brother Dan. FC Bayern have been in cooperation with the Major League Soccer (MLS) club since February 2018. Central to the partnership is the promotion of talent and the exchange of training plans.
