Leon Goretzka's banana bread recipe
Ingredients
- 75g margarine
- 70g maple syrup
- 2 organic eggs
- 100g gluten-free plain flour
- 100g gluten-free oats
- 1 tsp baking power
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 bananas
- 3-5 tbsp non-dairy milk
- pecan nuts (optional)
Method
- Beat the margarine and maple syrup into a mixture. Gradually stir in the two eggs.
- Mix and stir in the flour, oats, salt and baking powder.
- Mash two bananas and mix with the dough. Add 3-5 tbsp of non-dairy milk according to taste.
- Add a few crushed pecan nuts to the dough if desired.
- Spread the dough evenly in a loaf tin and garnish with one banana and the rest of the pecan nuts if using.
- Back for 45 minutes at 175 degrees.
- Cover after 20-25 minutes so that the banana bread doesn't go too brown.
