FC Kaiserslautern after 'Katsche' Schwarzenbeck made it 1-1 in the 74th minute for the league leaders. However, the main talking point of the match was on the FCB shirt as the Munich club wore a sponsor on their chest for the first time in their history. A large 'adidas' logo adorned the jerseys of Franz Beckenbauer & Co.

Since 2002, Telekom has emblazoned the club's shirts.
