Allianz Arena, FC Bayern Museum and FC Bayern Store to re-open from 16 May

Even though FC Bayern's matches will have to be played without the support of the fans for the time being to further slow the spread of the coronavirus, the German record champions' supporters can now get very close to their club again. Just in time for the Bundesliga restart this Saturday, 16 May 2020, the Allianz Arena, the FC Bayern Museum and the FC Bayern Store will once again open their doors on non-matchdays after being closed for just under two months. The re-opening will of course take place in compliance with all hygiene and safety regulations of the Bavarian state government, and the health of visitors and staff will have absolute priority.

By re-opening on non-matchdays, FC Bayern's home stadium is following the relaxation measures decided by the Bavarian state government in relation to the coronavirus pandemic. "We are very pleased that the Allianz Arena and our museum will once again be open to fans and that we can bring back a little distraction, information and, above all, emotion in times of crisis with our offer," says Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, executive board chairman of FC Bayern München AG. Jürgen Muth, Managing Director of Allianz Arena München Stadion GmbH, puts it in more concrete terms: "Of course, we will proceed step by step and with caution when opening the museum and will always keep an eye on the current situation. We are pleased that, despite the changes in conditions and requirements, we will be able to offer a visitor experience again, at least on non-matchdays, with access to the store and museum and the view of the Arena."

In the FC Bayern Museum, the dazzling trophies, unique exhibits and numerous multimedia elements tempt visitors to bask in memories. Reflecting on the past in order to draw new inspiration for the future is more important than ever at the moment. Visitors will also be able to take a look inside the Arena. As usual, exciting insights and background information about one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world will be provided. DO & CO, the hospitality partner, will be responsible for catering on the stadium concourse - again, of course, within the framework of the political guidelines.

The operation from 16 May onwards will take place under strict distancing and hygiene rules. Visitors and staff will be required to wear a mask covering both the mouth and nose. Limiting the number of visitors will ensure that the prescribed minimum distance of 1.5 metres can be maintained. This includes the specification of a maximum of one person per 20 square metres. Exceptions to the distance requirement are small groups whose members live in the same household. Hygiene protection measures will be installed in the box office and store areas and distance markings will be affixed in all waiting areas.

The number of visitors per day is limited. We therefore ask you to purchase your tickets online.

The Allianz Arena was temporarily closed to visitors from 16 March 2020 due to the spread of the coronavirus.
