
A new arrival at FC Bayern: After extensive internal analysis, the board of FC Bayern München AG has decided to create a new department within FC Bayern, the "Directorate for Brand Strategy". Thomas Glas has been appointed as director for this new position, and will move from Bayern partners Audi to the Säbener Straße HQ. Thomas Glas' areas of responsibility will include management of the FC Bayern brand and the development and implementation of a corresponding brand strategy.
"Development, refining and positioning of our brand are of central importance for FC Bayern. We are delighted we have been able to recruit a qualified specialist for this task in Thomas Glas," said Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. "I would also like to thank our partners Audi for the harmonious discussions regarding the move to FC Bayern," added the CEO.
