Good news on the day off from training for FC Bayern! Thiago made his return to the training ground to complete a light session. The 29-year-old midfielder completed a number of circuits around the training ground at Säbener Straße. Thiago underwent an operation on his groin after the DFB Cup semi-final against Eintracht Frankfurt. With one eye on the final against Bayer 04 Leverkusen on 4 July, head coach Hansi Flick said: "He's out of action for the next three weeks or so. Perhaps he might be back in time for the cup final." Thiago was today able to take his next steps in making his comeback.
