FC Bayern and Siemens extend partnership

FC Bayern and Siemens have extended their cooperation for another three years. The German record champions and the world's leading technology group are thus continuing their "Performance Partnership", which has existed since 2017, to the end of the 2022/2023 season.

The partnership focuses on future-oriented solutions and innovative technologies, and is to be expanded in particular in the area of sustainability.

Herbert Hainer, chairman of the supervisory board of FC Bayern München AG and president of FC Bayern München eV: "The partnership with Siemens enables us to sensibly combine innovation and sustainability in both football and basketball – two important components of our operations at FC Bayern. We will continue to adhere to this and look forward with great optimism to working with our "Performance Partner" over the next three years."

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, CEO of FC Bayern München AG: "We have maintained a close and trusting relationship with Siemens since the beginning of our partnership. We are therefore all the more pleased that we will continue to pursue our chosen path together in the future, and that we will be able to benefit from each other at various levels.”

Joe Kaeser, CEO of Siemens AG: "Siemens and FC Bayern are two strong and world-renowned brands, who are united by an unending passion for performance and quality. With our new agreement we are taking this successful partnership to a new level. It will allow us to work even more closely and intensively together to further contribute our expertise and solutions, especially in the area of sustainable technologies.”

On Wednesday FC Bayern announced the signing of 18-year-old central defender Tanguy Nianzou Kouassi.
