The countdown is on to Bayern’s Champions League semi-final against Lyon in Lisbon on Wednesday night (kick-off at 9pm CEST, coverage available with our live text commentary and free web radio). Victory would see the record German champions through to the final for the first time since they won the treble in 2013. With just a few hours to go until kick-off at the Estadio Jose Alvalade, Hansi Flick’s side made sure they were ready for their encounter with the French side.

Fierce battle in football tennis

At the customary warm-up session ahead of the game, the squad went through a number of stretching, stabilisation and coordination drills at the team hotel in the Portuguese capital to make sure they’re ready to go. And the players even showed their winning spirit with a round of football tennis to finish the session, battling for every ball in a sign of what’s to come in the evening against Lyon.
