The Bavarians are now through to the last four of Europe’s elite club competition for the seventh time in nine years, with FCB keeping their hopes of winning a historic sixth title and second treble in club history alive.

Bayern will remain in Lisbon. On Wednesday the semi-final tie will be staged at Sporting Lisbon’s Estádio José Alvelade. Hansi Flick’s men will learn the identity of their next opponents on Saturday, when Manchester City and Olympique Lyon face off at 21.00 CEST.
