FC Bayern's DFB Cup first round meeting with 1. FC Düren has been postponed, the German FA (DFB) announced on Thursday afternoon. The treble winners were scheduled to face the fifth-tier club on 11 September, but now Manuel Neuer and Co. have been granted a few days longer to rest and recover. The new date for the cup tie is 15 October (kick-off 20:45 CET, live on fcbayern.com free Web Radio). The clash between FC Düren and the holders and record cup winners will take place at the Allianz Arena.
By winning the Champions League, FC Bayern also climbed to the top of the UEFA club coefficients.
