By winning the final of the Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain and, subsequently the treble, FC Bayern secured a place in the football history books. Away from the pitch, Manuel Neuer and Co. also helped deliver extraordinary successes for the German record champions. With live coverage, dressing-room footage, party pictures and numerous other glimpses through the keyhole, the Bavarians' digital club media channels shattered numerous records before, during and after the final.
"We succeeded in making optimum use of the team's great sporting performance for our digital platforms. At this special time, when our fans unfortunately cannot be in the stadium for live games, it is all the more important to convey the intimacy and emotions via our channels to their homes and digital terminals - and in so doing to let the fans participate in our sporting successes in the best possible way," says Stefan Mennerich, Director of Media, Digital and Communication at FC Bayern.
Nikolai Kube, Head of Club Media adds: "Our entire team is very, very happy about winning the treble. And of course we are also proud that so many people around the world were cheering and celebrating with us via our digital platforms."
