At its meeting on 18 September 2020, the FC Bayern München eV executive committee decided to postpone the annual general meeting until spring 2021.
It will now take place on Thursday, 15 April 2021 at the Audi Dome in Munich. Due to the first teams' scheduling, this date during the week is the only way to ensure planning certainty.

President Herbert Hainer on the decision: "We did not take this decision lightly. The health of our members is our top priority. Given the current Bavarian state regulations with regard to major events, we can no longer hold the annual general meeting as a face-to-face event in 2020. However, since the implementation as a face-to-face event is very important to us, we have decided to postpone the meeting until April 2021. The FC Bayern annual general meetings traditionally live through the presence and togetherness of the members as well their emotion - we want to maintain this culture. From our point of view, a digital meeting is not an adequate substitute. However, we are considering this option as well, as no one knows what the situation will look like in the spring."
The invitation to the annual general meeting 2020/21 will be sent as usual via the club's homepage and the members' magazine "51".
