Information on Bayern Munich vs. Sevilla in Budapest

As previously announced, entry into Hungary is only possible with a valid match ticket for the UEFA Super Cup and a negative molecular biological SARS-CoV-2 PCR test in English or Hungarian (from a recognised laboratory), which must be presented in printed form. The test must not be older than three days at the time of entry and must certify that the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus was not detectable. In addition, a health check at the Hungarian border is obligatory.

FC Bayern Munich, in cooperation with Ecolog, is offering a free COVID-19 test to all fans travelling to Budapest. The test result will be sent to your email address within 24 hours. The tests will take place on Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 September (from 9am to 8pm) in the guest car park at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

You can register for the test and book a date under the following link (in German): https://fcbayern.ecocare.center/

Although Budapest has been classified as a risk area by the Robert-Koch-Institut, the (current) Bavarian “Ordinance on Quarantine Measures for Travellers for the control of Coronavirus” (dated 17.09.2020) states that the return journey to Bavaria is possible without a PCR COVID test, provided that the stay abroad was shorter than 48 hours. The regulation is (currently) valid until 3.10.2020.

Further information on the current Bavarian legal situation can be found HERE (in German).

If you have been abroad for more than 48 hours, a home quarantine of 14 days is mandatory. This quarantine can currently be shortened by a negative PCR COVID test and in this case must only be maintained until the negative test result is available.

The necessary PCR COVID test can be carried out free of charge by Ecolog at Munich airport after your return from Budapest on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September. Please keep your ticket from the UEFA Super Cup.

If you have already purchased a ticket but are unable or unwilling to travel to Budapest due to the conditions or travel warning, UEFA has agreed to cancel the ticket you have purchased and refund the full amount of the purchase to the card used to make it. To return your ticket, please log in today (18.09.2020) from 11am CEST at https://supercup-sales.tickets.uefa.com/ and click on TICKET RETURN. The return of tickets is only possible until 2pm CEST tomorrow (19.09.2020).
