Bayern attacker Ivan Perišić suffered defeat with Croatia on Saturday evening in their opening Nations League encounter. The Croatians lost 4-1 to Portugal in Porto, with Perišić appearing as a 61st-minute substitute. Next up for them is a trip to Paris to take on France on Tuesday.

Hernández not involved in France victory

In the other match in that group, the French were victorious in their first Nations League fixture after the international football restart. Didier Deschamps’ side beat Sweden 1-0 in Stockholm, although FCB defender Lucas Hernández did not feature.
